The brief: The studio was approached by Steve McQueen to develop and design a double sided cabinet for a sculpture called ‘For Queen and Country’. The cabinet would display pages of facsimile stamps. The images on the stamps would be photographic portraits of British service men and women who had lost their lives in the Iraq conflict. The cabinet was made in Oak with a powder coated steel base. The vertical sliding units are double sided with space for a sheet on each side, there are one hundred and twenty sliding units in the cabinet.
