The brief: The production of two panels to be installed in the Hyatt Hotel Chicago, designed by Freed Cobb Pei and Partners. Each of the two panels were made in four sections, to enable cost effective shipping and easier installation. The four parts bolt together to form a single panel. The frames were fitted after the panels were hung. The panels were hung on the opposite sides of an internal structure. The studio designed the hanging system which was set into the walls prior to the stone cladding being fitted. Dimensions: 2 parts 13.5 m x 3.2 m
