MSS were approached by the owners of Association Coffee to produce some bespoke lighting for their City of London branch.
We fabricated a large back-lit sign to go above the entrance, made from a steel frame, perspex and LED light sheets, complete with their logo in black perspex.
There is also made a five metre long light which is sited above the main counter, which hangs from straps, and when viewed from the end forms the ‘A’ of the logo. This was wet-sprayed mild steel, so the interior is an eggshell blue and the exterior black. It houses an LED strip. It is made from folded mild steel.
Finally there are three adjustable up lighters on the wall. These have a ball and socket pivot just below the shade to allow them to be angled. The shades are spun steel, with welded tube sections housing the wiring.
A team from MSS installed all the lighting when the premises were closed for business.
